I am a big proponent of the students using the technology. I think timeline would be awesome for student use in my math class. Oftentimes, in math, there are multiple steps to solving a problem or performing an operation. Students could use Timetoast timelines to sequentially order, label, and organize these steps. For example, this application would work perfect for solving inequalities. Students could put pictures of the problem with each step. The first step would be to get the equation in slope-intercept form. The second would be plotting points. Next would be deciding whether the line was solid or dashed. Fourth would be shading above or below the line and fifth would be plotting a check point. By the students putting this into a timeline they would demonstrate that they have mastered how to solve an inequality by listing the steps and doing an example problem.
